BIOGRAPHY
Rome, Italy’s TO KILL formed in june of 2004 within a group of friends, most of whom served as members of well known and succesful italian hardcore outfits FACE THE FACT, THE DIFFERENCE and THE KING. After just one month, they recorded theyr first 3 songs for a promo, later released as a mcd with one cover song added, by the Italian label Still Life Records.
During the summer of 2004 TO KILL concentrated on writing songs. In the fall they started theyr live activity and since the start it will be really intense. They played few shows in their city, supporting the most important bands passing through it (like Champion and Comeback Kid). In december/January they played some shows in US sharing the stage with some of the most known bands of the US scene (BANE, THE PROMISE, MOST PRECIOUS BLOOD, PATH OF RESISTENCE, CHAMPION, OUTBREAK, VERSE, A PERFECT MURDER and many more) having a
really good response form the kids over there.
Their debut release (mcd on still life record) received critical acclaim from reviews across Europe and the first pressing sold out within 2 weeks.
To follow-up this debut, TO KILL entered the studio once again in to begin work on their first full length, “Watching You Fall”, this time for the US label Catalyst Records (DAY OF SUFFERING, HARVEST, BIRTHRIGHT). By all accounts, the band’s newest material expands upon their already powerful grasp on aggressive, straight forward hardcore.
With their new album, “Watching You Fall”, out may 2005, TO KILL got a great response from the press receiving many interviews anre really good reviews on the most important magazine and webzine around the globe. The first press sold out in few weeks and the name was spreaded in every continents. Good responses also in Australia and Japan.
On 2005 TO KILL played a lot of shows around Europe touching countries like Germany, Poland, Austria, Czech Republic, Italy and many more. The band shared the stage with bands like TERROR, WALLS OF JERICHO, STRETCH ARM STRONG, THE PROMISE just to say few names. TO KILL just played at the biggest hardcore fest of the east Europe, FLUFF FEST, near Prague. In august they will record 4 songs for a split cd on the south American label Liberation Records (also known for releasing in south America the records from all the biggest labels around, in the roster WALLS OF JERICHO, CALIBAN, HEAVEN SHALL BURN,
THROWDOWN, MADBALL and many more).
They will restart the live activity on September 11 in Rome with UNSANE (relapse rec.).
From 29th of September till 29th of October TO KILL will be on European tour with LET IT DIE from US (formers members of BLACK DALIAH MURDER) playing in countries like Germany, Austria, France, Belgium, Holland, Swiss, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Poland, Slovenia and much more. During the tour they will join big festivals around and also other bands like BURY YOUR DEAD (victory rec.) THE RED CHORD (metal blade)
BLUE MONDAY (bridge nine) and much more.
In November they will play some shows of the euro tour of BANE and COMEBACK KID in Italy and Germany, and they will do a small German tour in the ed of the month to finish it to a festival with UNDYING (US) LIAR, MAROON, DEADLOCK,
PURIFIED IN BLOOD.
In Italy they are imposing like one of the most active bands at the moment. They will be present on the next FREESTYLER (skateboard magazine), ROCK SOUND (Italian biggest rock magazine) METAL HAMMER, and much more. N the web interviews soon on truesidemusic.com silentstagnation.com
TO KILL will do a full USA tour this winter and in February they will play the biggest hardcore fest of south America LIBERATION FESTIVAL.
